History
The
Bretagne was the first ferry of a new generation of ferries, more luxurious. She was built in the Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire in 1989 to replace the
Quiberon on the line Cork-Santander. She was replaced by the
Val de Loire in 1993 and then joined the line Saint-Malo Portsmouth.
